About The show

The basic thematic framework of the play is the issue of ‘loss’ and the ways, rituals and procedures that we as humans deal with. Throughout our lives, we are faced with loss in different ways.
We often lose many material, albeit unimportant items. Sometimes we also lose social, economic, health or emotional security. We are always faced with the loss of people close to us or, in the end, of ourselves, either by breaking up relationships or by death. This play brings an uncompromising exposure of the authors and performers as performers, but also as private people whose dealing with the loss and death of loved ones is just as imperfect, deep, unstable, dynamic and long-lasting as it is with all of us. Observing the issue of ‘loss’, as an integral part of our lives, this theatrical performance tries to fight for the birth of a personal confrontation with the ‘difficult’, ‘removed’, ‘socially camouflaged, ‘censored’ or ‘deliberately suppressed’ in and around us. It is so clear that we have before us a very current piece whose basic framework and goal is to provide and build empathy in a time when we may be aware of ‘loss’ as a necessary part of life’s journey more than ever before on an intimate, private, public, local-collective level. , as well as on a global level.
The performers on the project are already established artists: Lada Bonacci, Saša Naumov and Marija Šegvić. The play’s dramaturgy is written by Dorotea Šušak. The author of the photos is Sanjin Kaštelan.
The project was created with the support of the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Croatia, the City of Zagreb, and the Technical Museum Nikola Tesla in Zagreb and Summers in Tehnički
